Heaven on Earth

This Chateau is one of the most beautiful places in the south of Burgundy. Beautiful rooms, excellent meals, the most charming host Marty - and all that in a wonderful landscape - makes the Chateau de Vaulx a place not only to stay but to come back (as we do for years now)! On était si bien, on en redemande.

Splendide, merveilleux, magnifique ! La région est sublime, le château magnifique, l'accueil exceptionnel, on en redemande ! À quand la prochaine fois. On était si bien, le petit matin givré, la vue dégagée depuis la chambre. Chateau with a view!

We stayed at the Chateau de Vaulx in July for two nights on our way to the alps, this lovely rustic chateau is set on top of the beautiful hills of the charollais region, attractions you can visit are Cluny cathedral, vineyards in Macon, and the burgundy region. We stayed in the suite Geoffray, which has in my opinion the best view of the hills and villages around. Marty is a superb cook and a

great host, drinks were offered to us on our arrival as a welcome. The breakfast served to us was excellent. This place is perfect to relax and read a book after the hustle and bustle of Paris... Would recommend to anyone!!! Only comment would be fun to have a pool available.
