Wonderful accommodation in a Magnificent Chateau in Burgundy

We had three rooms for one night on our way from Paris to Monaco. We were absolutely thrilled with the chateau and the excellent attention to detail provided by Marty. This place exceeded our expectations due to the fabulous rooms (each one unique), wonderful furniture and abundant views over the Burgundy countryside.

We were lucky enough to have been provided a meal on the evening of our arrival and a breakfast on the morning of our departure. Both of these were stylish and scrumptious. We have great memories of this wonderful experience and are grateful for Marty for his attentiveness and his charm. Our only regret is that we didn't book for a longer stay. Lovely walks around the grounds, definitely recommended

We received a very warm welcome from Marty when we arrived at short notice during our "Sawdays Road Trip" from Somerset to Italy. Chateau de Vaulx is a fabulous building that has undergone some serious renovations in recent years. Being a building geek I was fascinated by Marty's account of the works and history of his home. We enjoyed and a delicious breakfast - top service, definitely recommended.

Charme et qualité : cet endroit de rêve existe

Arrivée par un raidillon dans la brume humide, la cour d'honneur a révélé au dernier moment le charme du château de Vaulx. Le soleil du lendemain dévoile la majesté du lieu, la vue exceptionnelle sur le bocage. Marty disponible, discret pense au confort de chacun enfant, adultes, chiens. Les chambres - les appartements plutôt - vastes, décorées avec beaucoup de goût sont toutes

différentes et offrent confort, bien-être. Marty a évidemment allumé un feu dans la magnifique cheminée du salon et dressé le couvert fleuri dans la salle à manger. On ne peut qu'apprécier le château de Vaulx, son parc, son potager et sa quiétude de grande demeure. Longue vie au Château, à son équipe et à Marty.
