What more could you ask for?

Everything about Marty and the chateau is expansive and spectacularly memorable, and the love and flair with which he and Thierry have restored, decorated and furnished their home is heart-warming, as is the generosity with which they share it. The far-reaching views from their hill-top avenue are glorious: it would be very tempting to return and see their wonderful garden and grounds in all

the different seasons. Add to that a charming landscape dotted with mellow old villages and Romanesque churches, grazed by Charolais cattle and alive with birdsong: what more could you ask for?

Wonderful accommodation in a Magnificent Chateau in Burgundy

We had three rooms for one night on our way from Paris to Monaco. We were absolutely thrilled with the chateau and the excellent attention to detail provided by Marty. This place exceeded our expectations due to the fabulous rooms (each one unique), wonderful furniture and abundant views over the Burgundy countryside.

We were lucky enough to have been provided a meal on the evening of our arrival and a breakfast on the morning of our departure. Both of these were stylish and scrumptious. We have great memories of this wonderful experience and are grateful for Marty for his attentiveness and his charm. Our only regret is that we didn't book for a longer stay. A wonderful stay in Bourgogne Sud

This was the third time we stayed at Chateaux de Vaulx. A beautiful B&B chateau with a wonderful host. I don't think one finds better. The rooms, the living room, the dining room and the kitchen area are wonderfully decorated and the warmth of the host made us feel welcome and relaxed.
