Leon Geoffray, born in 1852, died in 1927, is a French diplomat at the origin of the Entente Cordiale, then ambassador of France in Madrid.

A wonderful stay in Bourgogne Sud

This was the third time we stayed at Chateaux de Vaulx. A beautiful B&B chateau with a wonderful host. I don't think one finds better. The rooms, the living room, the dining room and the kitchen area are wonderfully decorated and the warmth of the host made us feel welcome and relaxed.

Why not stay in a real chateau?

There is nothing to beat staying in a real chateau. For a couple of days you feel like a prince, or a duke, or a marquis. The ambiance is just great and the views from the chateau are breath-taking. The rooms are large and have all modern facilities. The area is beautiful, with excellent views, it does not matter in which direction you go. Cluny and the château de Drée are very near and are well worth a

visit. Allow yourself to be spoilt in this authentic part of France.

Un habile mélange d'élégance naturelle, de bon goût décontracté

Une atmosphère mêlant esprit classique et baroque, teintes mates et matières naturelles, à quelques éléments plus campagne. Un lieu où l'on se sent d'emblée bien et heureux, du matin au soir, autour de tables généreuses et raffinées.
