At the village

• At the village church: the choir, the apse and the bell tower date back to the roman period (thirteenth century). Tabernacle of the sixteenth century.
• Our local celebrity: Bernard Thevenet, cyclist, twice winner of the Tour de France (1975, 1977) was born in Saint-Julien-de-Civry at a place called Le Guidon (literally the handlebar! The Tour passed by for its centenary (2003). The village square is named after him.
• On July 14, was the occasion of the " Fête de la Treuffe " (Treuffe means potato in brionnais dialect). This party no longer exists. The first weekend of September, we celebrate our saint patron.

The castle of Chaumont (XVI-XVIII): great hall, chapel, French garden. Beautiful bower.

The château de Drée

Prestigious XVIIIth century chateau fully furnished, park of 10 ha restored French gardens, ponds.

April, May, September, October: from 2pm to 5pm every day except Wednesday. Last tour starting at 4:30pm.

June, July and August from 10 am to 5:30pm every day (between noon to 2pm only visit the gardens). Last tour starting at 5pm.

The château de Cormatin

A spectacular seventeenth century ensemble in perfect authenticity. Visit the apartment of the Marquise is a unique journey through time. As for the garden, we almost saw the birth years ago, it has now reached a beautiful maturity and is full of attractions.

Open every day, including Sundays and holidays, from Saturday, March 30 to Monday, November 11.
